When I came up with the idea for a new form of social media, I had a vision that was a departure of what the world had become accustomed to. I was exhausted with the tired model of an online popularity contest, or a platform to say “my life is better than yours”, or “I’m better than you”, without actually saying it. Between the “brag book” social media had turned into, along with the politics, the bullying, the arguments with complete strangers, and an overall lack of authenticity, I felt it was time for change. I knew there were millions of people all over the world putting effort towards incredible things, but where was their platform? Where was their voice? How would they be found?

This was the catalyst behind Klybourne. My aim is to uncover the hard work, the talent, the skill, the drive, the goals and the ambition of millions across the globe, no matter what field and no matter what interest. To take those achievements that make us stand tall and place them on an online platform where they can be found by colleges, universities, hiring agencies and employers. We want to humanize the experience of the next generation looking to advance in life….to put a person behind the words, a picture behind the resume, a voice behind the numbers. We also want today’s businesses, corporations and universities to have an online venue that allows them to see the true story behind the next generation. Our goal is to connect today with tomorrow, because we know tomorrow has an incredible story to tell.
