Paul Gavin – Bio – From the Founder
After years of noticing the toxic and mentally unhealthy social media environment that encapsulated society, especially our youth, Paul Gavin looked to create an authentic and genuine alternative that highlighted our achievements, our goals, and our ambition, while at the same time creating a safe social media space that promotes positivity and confidence.
As someone who has completed 6 Ironman triathlons and over 20 marathons, Paul understands the discipline and determination involved in achieving goals, and he sees that same ambition in so many others. In an effort to give everyone a voice, and to fill the void in the social media space between personal and professional, he sought out to create an alternative for all people, no matter their age or background.
Paul also spent the better part of his professional career in the finance industry and began to realize that character and integrity were as important as accolades and achievements, and felt that there should be a platform that brought all of it to light.
Paul and a small team helped build Klybourne from the ground up, without influence nor financing from bigger players in the space. He wanted to work with people who, like him, saw the damage social media was having on our kids, and who also shared a vision on how to reimagine social media as a whole.
